The Young Messengers of Hawaii

The Young Messengers of Hawaii (Na Elele Opio Ko Hawaii Nei) Contest invites Hawaii’s youth to think about our state’s future and what it will take to make their home in the Hawaiian Islands the very best place to work and live.

The second annual contest is open to all students who are currently in grades 4 through 12 and enrolled at a public, private, charter or home school organization in Hawaii. All entrants will receive former Governor George R. Ariyoshi’s book, Hawaii: The Past Fifty Years, The Next Fifty Years (Watermark Publishing, 2009). Prizes are offered for the winning entries, which will also be published in a book and on www.HawaiiNext50.com.

The Young Messengers of Hawaii (Na Elele Opio Ko Hawaii Nei) Contest is presented by the aio Foundation.

Good luck to all contestants!
